ACGPS charges S$300.00 for 4 lessons, with each lesson duration set at 2-hours. Payment is made at the first session of each month.
ACGPS does not observe a deposit policy where students pay a deposit which is subject to forfeit in the case of early withdrawal.
We believe strongly in the quality of our teaching and are confident that students who sign up with us will remain committed to attending our sessions until the completion of their major year-end examinations.
As a matter of policy, we do not refund lessons that are missed. We provide options for students to attend make-up sessions either in the same academic / working week or within the same academic month.
We do not refund lessons that have been paid for in full but which students may miss due to early withdrawal. The exception to this will be in unexpected circumstances which we will discuss and review with the student and family on a case-by-case basis.
You can sign up for make-up sessions by attending lessons within the same academic week.
Lessons in the same academic week run from Thursday to Sunday for JC2 classes and on Saturday and Sunday for JC1 classes.
ACGPS has synchronized lessons in the same academic week so that lesson materials, concepts and exercises are all equivalent.
For example, if you are in a Thursday, Friday or Saturday class and you miss out on a lesson, you can attend an equivalent lesson on any other day of the same academic / work-week (Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday).
For students who attend the classes on Sunday who foresee that they may miss lessons (maybe due to personal / family events), you can schedule your timing to attend an equivalent lesson on Thursday, Friday or Saturday.
Some students may miss lessons within a week and are unable to attend an equivalent session in the same academic week.
For these students, ACGPS will set aside 2 slots in each month where students can attend missed lessons. The lesson materials, concepts and exercises for these sessions may be different from the week-end lessons but focus on relevant essay question discussions and practices.
The days and timings for these make-up sessions are as follows:
a. JC1: the 2nd Tuesday of each month (6.00pm-8.00pm); and –
b. JC2: the 3rd Tuesday of each month (6.00pm-8.00pm)
